This is just as “true” as man-made global warming

And a lot funnier.  A Frank Caliendo parody of Algore:

SUPERNOVA!  It’s comin y’all.

Of course, our Sun would have to be SEVERAL times more massive than it is to have even the chance to end in a supernova.  And if it were that massive, it would have died BILLIONS of years ago.  But don’t let the facts get in the way.  The Goreacle certainly doesn’t.

Will “Dear Leader” get a primary challenge?

Source: NPR

What happens in 2012 if the 2010 midterms is a Democrat massacre, Iran gets a nuke, and unemployment still sucks?

NPR seems to think Obama might get a primary challenger.  A year ago, I predicted that Hillary would quit as Secretary of State and make ready to primary Obama.  However, I don’t see that happening at this point.  Any Obama primary challenge will come from the even further loony left, such as Dennis Kucinich.

The problem is that the inaccurately named “mainstream” media will paint any challenger to Obama as a Raaaaaaaaaaaaaaaacist! for no reason other than running against Dear Leader.  This strategy, combined with Chicago thuggery pretty much took out Hillary in the `08 primaries.

There was a similar situation in 1980, Ted “The Swimmer” Kennedy did primary Obama’s spiritual twin, Jimmy Carter, who faced similar circumstances, a failed economy, a failed foreign policy, and an America seen to be in decline.  Kennedy though ran from the left.

Honestly, I think that there is a greater chance of Obama simply not running for re-annointment rather than facing certain defeat than he is to see a primary challenger.

5/20/10 “Everyone Draw mohammed day”

I’m in.  It will be a stick figure given my (lack of) artistic ability.

It is high time for we, who love our freedoms, and who love our civilization to stand up to those who wish to IMPOSE their sick, twisted, 7th Century AD non-religion upon us.

I do not believe that mohammed was any kind of a prophet.  No more than Adolph Hitler was.  Both men have many things in common.  They committed genocide.  They wished to see the Jews killed.  They both led wars of conquest.  Hitler, however, didn’t marry a 6 year old and consummate a sexual relationship with her at age 9.  The so-called prophet mohammed did.

Is mohammed a prophet?  No.  One thing the Prophets, Christ, and the Saints all have in common is there are Miracles attributed to them.  The “holy” koran doesn’t even claim any miracles for mo.  Other than the koran itself.  Which is little more than the increasingly deranged rantings of a genocidal lunatic.  See “Mein Kampf”.

Tragedy in West Virginia

http://www.herald-dispatch.com/homepage/x1663056421/6-dead-21-missing-in-W-Va-coal-mine-blast

25+ dead in a mine gas explosion.  I pray for the victims and their families.  And for a miracle.

My grandfather was a coal miner, and a veteran of World War II.  He was once involved in a mine accident near Williamson, WV, which makes stories like this very personal to me.

Coal miners are brave people who are performing a thankless but necessary job that we ALL benefit from.  They deserve our support and respect.

Liberating Western Civilization from Jihad Oil should be our Crusade

I am strongly for getting America off of foreign oil.  The billions upon billions of dollars spent on foreign oil is largely spent in places that not only are oppressive, freedom crushing totalitarian regimes, but it it is also what is funding  jihad.  If we could get away from oil, the Jihad movement would starve to death for lack of resources.  The muslim regimes of the Middle East, unable to fund vast socialist programs which keep them in power with the dollars flooding into their countries from the very places they seek to destroy, would collapse.

Oil is pretty much the only valuable thing there is in the non-Israel part of the largely worthless desert that is the Middle East.  It’s value is amplified by the increasing unwillingness of the West (including the United States) to maximize use of their own domestic resources of oil and other fossil fuels that can be converted to gasoline substitutes.

Hydrogen based power, both hydrogen itself as a fuel, and as the catalyst for nuclear fusion is ultimately the future.  Both of which are the most efficient and clean sources of massive power generation our current technology can possibly envision as becoming practical within a generation or two.

Unfortunately, we are likely to see neither within 50 years.  This is technology that is only in the “in concept” stages.

This means, in our lifetime, we will continue to be dependent on either fossil fuel, or power generation methods that currently exist, and in improving on them.  It’s either that or cease to be a modern technological civilization and regress into the dark ages.

However, it is still possible to free ourselves from dependency on the Jihad Oil Corporation (also called OPEC) in our lifetimes, without waiting for tomorrow’s technology to provide a better solution than our current conventional fuel needs.

This could be achieved in the following ways:

1. A crash program to make the process of converting coal and oil shales (which the United States has in greater abundance than any other nation on Earth) to liquid fuel cheaper and more efficiently.

This technology dates back more than 60 years to World War II, and is how the Germans, who had coal reserves but not oil, produced fuel domestically.  It has not been pursued seriously largely because of the availability of Jihad Oil, and the Algore Movement which is pretty much against any potential fuel or power source that might actually work.  This can never be done as cheap as pumping oil, but with oil prices in the $80’s and going up, it can become a viable alternative.

I would not mind paying $3 for gasoline if it were produced domestically and none of that $3 was going to Saudi Arabia or Venezuela.

This plan has the advantage of being the quickest to achieve, and would make it possible to continue to use both existing infrastructure and vehicles.  We would simply be producing gasoline via other sources of fossil fuel raw material.  It would also have the advantage of providing lots of good paying American jobs to Americans to produce, refine, and deliver the fuel.

2. Believe it or not, the electric car is actually practical and possible within my (Gen X) lifetime.  But to do so would require us to maximize the use of the most efficient, practical, and, for you Algore worshipers CLEAN sources of power there is:  Nuclear Fission.

We need a crash program to construct sufficient numbers of nuclear power plants all over the country, to replace not only all current power plants fueled by non domestic fuel sources, but to provide enough electricity to power all of the automobiles in the United States.  The electric grid would need to be greatly expanded to accommodate this, and the infrastructure would need to be built, in the form of charging stations to replace gas stations.  This will take probably 20-25 years to do, and battery technology does need to be improved further.

However, today’s technology does make it possible to build an electric vehicle sufficient to allow almost anyone to commute to work, recharge the battery while at work, and commute home.  Longer trips could be achieved by a universal standard for “battery exchange” at charging stations.  If we had more nuclear power generating plants, electricity would be able to be provided cheaper than currently, making it cheaper to both “plug in” your car while at work (think of it as a potential employer, or even retailer provided benefit) and to provide power to recharge battery at the new form of  “gas” station.

Like option 1 this would also provide the US economy with a huge number of well paying American jobs to Americans to produce and distribute the energy.  A greatly expanded nuclear power industry would also provide large numbers of technology and engineering jobs.

I would love to see a serious economic study on how much this would cost if there were sufficient numbers of nuclear power stations in the US.

The main thing preventing this, of course, is the left’s insane opposition to nuclear power, and the general public’s ignorance on the subject, largely encouraged by the left, who portray it as dangerous when it isn’t.

Ultimately, however, liberating ourselves from the need for what our enemy is selling us is the only way we will free ourselves of him and make him impotent.

Unfortunately, neither political party is even proposing any of this.  This would be an undertaking that would dwarf the Apollo Project in importance to the American People and would make the President who set it in motion a legitimate hero.  While there would be some need for government assistance in the beginning, if either (or both) of these ideas are pursued, this would be paid back in HUGE dividends by the creation of a massive in size, for profit new industry that would create MILLIONS of net jobs when you consider that energy production would be purely domestic with little or no foreign jobs involved.

A Gen X’ers Manifesto

I WILL NOT work for less than half what I earn to support a welfare state.  I will cease to work for anything but the demise of a government that mandates this at that point.

I WILL uphold my Constitution, against all enemies, Democrat or Republican.

I support a compassionate safety net in bad economic times (largely caused by socialism) for those who lose their jobs or who are able to work who can’t find work.  I, however, decline to support a permanent welfare class, as that isn’t compassion, that is dependency.  I also believe that those who do need to take from others should decline, voluntarily, to exercise their right to vote on moral grounds, in the same principle that members of the government should NOT be allowed to vote themselves new benefits or pay raises.  I think this should be codified.

I believe that the Tenth Amendment means what it says.  If the Constitution doesn’t say Washington can do it, it can’t.

I am for a Constitutional Amendment extending the principles of Referendum and Recall to the Federal Government.  All Federal office holders, be it congressmen, Senator, Judge, or President should be subject to Recall election.  Federal law, by Referendum, should be able to be proposed, or Recalled by citizens.

I believe the Second Amendment is there, not so that hunters can have rifles to shoot game, but so that the government, if tyrannical, if acting beyond the Constitution, can be outgunned by the citizens.

I believe that violating an oath to “preserve, protect, and defend” the Constitution should be a criminal offense on par with a CAPITAL CRIME.  Congress, the President, and Judges should be chargeable under this offense.

I believe that a welfare state is unsustainable, that our entitlement commitment already dooms us to economic collapse within my lifetime, that any added weight of any new entitlement (such as Obamacare) only hastens this inevitability.

I believe that a government that does not fear it’s citizens is an unlawful government.

I believe that our Judeo Christian heritage, built on a classical Greco-Roman civilization is what produced our Constitution and our freedom.

I believe that Islam is not a religion, that it is a cult with the goal of world conquest, and it does not deserve any Constitutional protections since it refuses to submit to it as supreme law.  The only difference between Hitler and Mohammed is that Hitler didn’t claim to be a “prophet” of “god”.

I believe that Israel is the land of God’s chosen people and should be defended by all of Western Civilization.  Christians are also Jews.  That is our origin.

I believe that our borders should be secure.  I believe that we should have open immigration of educated or qualified people from all countries, anywhere, but that they should be expected to ASSIMILATE as Americans, adding their own culture to our “melting pot” as cultures did in the 19th and 20th centuries.   No one who can’t speak English fluently should get American Citizenship.

Our borders should be patrolled by automated machine gun turrets if necessary, programmed to shoot down without prejudice anyone who crosses outside a designated crossing point.
